Mandatory MyDigital ID Login for MyJPJ Extended to March 1

JPJ has postponed the mandatory use of MyDigital ID for MyJPJ logins from February 1 to March 1, 2026.
To avoid service disruptions, users should promptly download and register on the MyDigital ID app using simple online verification, such as a MyKad photo and a selfie.

Latest EPF Dividend Rates Announced

EPF has officially declared a 6.15% dividend for Conventional Savings and 6.30% for Shariah Savings.
The conventional rate is slightly lower than last year’s 6.30%, and members can check their credited amounts via the i-Akaun app soon.

New MCMC Prepaid SIM Registration Rules to Prevent Abuse

To curb misuse, MCMC now limits Malaysians to 5 prepaid SIM cards per telco, while foreigners are limited to 2.
Registrations are banned for children under 12, minors aged 12-17 require guardian details, and tourist SIMs are capped at a 3-month validity.
For identity protection, telcos must notify users within 12 hours if a new SIM is registered under their name.

KWSP Announces Shorter Ramadan Operating Hours

During Ramadan (Feb 19 – Mar 19), operating hours for all KWSP/EPF counters will be adjusted to 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
The public is advised to take note of these new hours and plan their visits accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.

JPN Adjusts Ramadan Operating Hours

From Feb 19 to Mar 20, 2026, standard JPN branches will operate from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and UTC branches until 4:30 PM.
Monday to Thursday lunch breaks are from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, while Friday breaks vary by region: Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak, and Sabah.
