- The Ministry of Education has published the academic calendar for 2025/2026.
The school session for the Academic Calendar 2025 will start from 17 February 2025 until 20 December 2025.The End of School Year Holidays: 20 December 2025 – 11 January 2026. - Group A (Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu):

𝐑𝐌𝟏𝟓𝟎 𝐁𝐀𝐏 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲
- To ease the financial burden on parents, the government will distribute RM150 𝐁𝐀𝐏 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 in January. All primary, secondary, and Form Six students are eligible for this aid.
- Recipients will automatically receive the grant in terms of cash or credit deposited, no application needed.
𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬
- With the consent of the Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and based on recommendations from the Johor Islamic Religious Council (JAINJ), the Regent of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has announced that Johor’s official weekend will shift to Saturday and Sunday starting 1 January 2025.
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐊𝐊, 𝐒𝐓𝐑, 𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐀, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐔𝐃𝐈 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐈 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
- According to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN), the government has extended the final claim deadline for SKK, STR, SARA, and BUDI MADANI assistance.
- Beneficiaries must claim their aid or compensation by 31 January 2025. Those without bank accounts can visit BSN with their MyKad or relevant documents to collect their assistance.
𝐑𝐌𝟒,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐑𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝!
- To encourage Malaysians to install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at home, the government introduced the SolaRIS Solar Incentive Programme in 2024. Eligible applicants can enjoy rebates of up to RM4,000.
- The SolaRIS programme has been extended to 30 April 2025, eligible applicants required to complete the installation of their solar PV systems by 30 June 2025.
