The MARiiCas electric motorcycle rebate programme has stopped accepting new applications and will only process submissions already received.
Launched in 2024, the scheme aims to encourage the purchase or lease of locally assembled (CKD) electric motorcycles, offering a subsidy of RM2,400.
Eligible recipients include Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above, holding a B/B1/B2 motorcycle licence, with annual income not exceeding RM120,000.

SKAS will provide enhanced financial assistance starting in 2026. The total allocation will exceed RM600 million, benefiting over one million eligible recipients.
Revised assistance amounts include:
- Families (monthly household income ≤ RM5,000): increased from RM800 to RM950, disbursed RM316 per cycle.
- Senior citizens without spouse or children (monthly income ≤ RM5,000): increased from RM400 to RM500, disbursed RM166 per cycle.
- Single individuals (monthly income ≤ RM2,500): increased from RM250 to RM300, disbursed RM100 per cycle.

The Ministry of Education will distribute RM150 in Back-to-School Aid (Bantuan Persekolahan) to all primary and secondary students in January 2026.
The assistance is universal—no income requirement, and every school student is eligible.
Funds will be distributed through schools and teachers to parents/guardians, who must collect the aid in person.

Beginning in 2026, individuals under 16 will not be allowed to register social media accounts independently. They may only access platforms under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
Social media providers will be required to implement eKYC identity verification using official government-issued identification (e.g., MyDigitalID, MyKad, passport).
This measure aims to enhance online safety for minors and reduce exposure to cyber risks and inappropriate content.
