Recently, the details of Jamin Kerja 2.0 programme is being announced. Let’s have a look at what is the difference between Jamin Kerja 1.0 & 2.0

Application Conditions

1. Categories

  • From 6 groups reduce to 4 groups, the groups that still remain in JaminKerja 2.0:
    1. Female employees
    2. Vulnerable groups
    3. Tourism related sectors
    4. Replacing foreign employees/expats

2. Conditions

  • Kindly refer to the picture

3. Minimum salary conditions

  • Increased to RM1,500 (Only for female employees and vulnerable groups)

4. Additional terms

  • Unemployment period of 2 months (Except SIP beneficiaries, SOSCO Return to Work (RTW) participants, B40 group, and OKU)
  • Employers must register with SOCSO before 1st January 2022

5. Documents required

  • Offer letter
  • Birth certificate (Native)
  • Military identity card (IC)/Police retirement card (Veteran)
  • Proof of Malaysia Prison Department (Ex-convict)
  • Proof of Department of Social Welfare (Poverty)

6. Application deadline

  • 31st December 2022
