- According to The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN), if a STR aid recipient passes away in 2024, the family members can go to Bank Negara Nasional (BSN) to receive RM1,000 death benefit from February 1 to December 31, 2024.
- The documents required to receive the death benefit include the original or copy of the death certificate issued by the National Registration Department (JPN), documents proving the relationship between the deceased and the family members (such as birth papers or marriage certificates), and the family members’ identity cards.

- The Ministry of Finance has announced the RM200 BUDI MADANI diesel subsidy payment schedule for 2024. Eligible applicants will receive the subsidy on these dates!

- October (Distributed on October 7)
- November (Distributed on November 8)
- December (Distributed on December 6)

- Starting from September 11, Grab will start charging a 1% handling fee to users who use credit cards to top up GrabPay!

- According to the Road Transport Department Malaysia (JPJ), the opening hours of JPJ service counters will be implemented starting from August 19.
- The JPJ service counters in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Penang will extend their opening hours by one hour on Mondays and Fridays, and JPJ service counters in Johor will extend their opening hours by one hour on Sundays and Thursdays.
- This policy will be implemented in batches at JPJ service counters in other states.
