  • According to The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN), if a STR aid recipient passes away in 2024, the family members can go to Bank Negara Nasional (BSN) to receive RM1,000 death benefit from February 1 to December 31, 2024.
  • The documents required to receive the death benefit include the original or copy of the death certificate issued by the National Registration Department (JPN), documents proving the relationship between the deceased and the family members (such as birth papers or marriage certificates), and the family members’ identity cards.
