Some taxpayers recently received an email titled:
“PEMERISAAN CUKAI: DISYAKI MENGELUARKAN INVOIS PALSU”
(Tax Audit: Suspected of Issuing Fake Invoices)
At first glance, the email looks official — it even includes legal sections and scary penalties !!
Please be aware – this is a scam!
The sender email is from Gmail or private domain, NOT from @hasil.gov.my!
If you receive such suspicious emails:
- Don’t panic
- Don’t reply or click anything
- Forward the email to your tax agent or contact LHDN directly at 03-8911 1000 to verify
Please help spread the word — scammers are getting more aggressive, and many business owners could fall into the trap!
