With the implementation of the targeted diesel subsidy mechanism, eligible Malaysian citizens, smallholders, and agricultural operators can apply for diesel assistance under the BUDI MADANI programme to help reduce their operating and living costs.

This guide explains the eligibility requirements, application process, and payment schedule for both BUDI Individu and BUDI Agri-Komoditi.

BUDI MADANI Diesel Subsidy Programme

BUDI Individu (Individual Diesel Subsidy)

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Malaysian citizen
Own a private diesel vehicle registered with JPJ
Excludes luxury diesel vehicles that are less than 10 years old
Vehicle must have a valid road tax
Annual income does not exceed RM100,000

Individuals who meet the above requirements may apply for the BUDI Individu subsidy.

BUDI Agri-Komoditi

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Smallholder farmer or plantation owner
Registered with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) or relevant agencies
Annual revenue or sales turnover between RM50,000 and RM300,000

Eligible agricultural operators may submit an application under BUDI Agri-Komoditi.

How to Apply for the BUDI Diesel Subsidy

Step 1

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Go to the official BUDI MADANI portal:

https://www.budi95.gov.my/

Then click:

BUDI MADANI DIESEL to access the diesel subsidy application page.

Step 2

Step 2: Select Your Application Category

Choose the category that applies to you:

Individual Applicants: BUDI Individu
Farmers / Agricultural Operators: BUDI Agri-Komoditi

Then click “Mohon Di Sini” to proceed with the application.

Step 3

Step 3: Enter Your Identification Number

Enter your MyKad Identification Number.

If you have not registered for a BUDI MADANI account yet, click “Daftar Akaun” to create an account before proceeding with your application.

Step 4

Step 4: Complete Your Personal Information

Fill in all the required personal details.

Once completed, click “Hantar” to submit your registration successfully.

Step 5

Step 5: Log In and Select Your Application Category

After completing your registration, log in to your account again.

Then select the appropriate category:

BUDI Individu (Individual Applicant)
BUDI Agri-Komoditi (Farmer / Agricultural Operator)

Step 6: Complete and Submit Your Application

Fill in all the required information.

After reviewing and confirming that all details are accurate, click “Hantar” to submit your application successfully.

Diesel Subsidy Payment Schedule

Approved applicants will generally receive their subsidy payments on a monthly basis.

Applicants are encouraged to:

Regularly check their application status through the system
Ensure their bank account details are accurate
Stay updated with the latest government payment announcements

Once approved, the subsidy will be credited directly into the applicant’s registered bank account.
