Perumahan Kasih Johor 2026 Now Open for Applications

The Johor State Government has reopened applications for the Perumahan Kasih Johor 2026 programme, providing housing assistance to eligible Johor residents.
Whether you are buying your first home, moving into your first home, or renting a house, you may be eligible to receive financial assistance of up to RM5,000, subject to the relevant requirements.
Applications are open from 3 August 2026 to 31 December 2026. Eligible applicants are encouraged to check the requirements and prepare the necessary supporting documents in advance.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Before submitting an application, applicants should check whether they meet the relevant basic eligibility requirements, including:

• Malaysian citizen with an IC address in Johor
• Aged 18 and above
• Single, married, or single parents with children may apply
• Applicant or spouse must be a registered voter in Johor
• Meet the relevant household income requirements
• Have not previously received assistance under the same category
• Meet the relevant home purchase, move-in or rental requirements based on the assistance category applied for

Important: Eligibility criteria may vary depending on the type of assistance. Final eligibility is subject to the official application requirements and assessment results.

What Documents Are Required?

Applicants should prepare the relevant supporting documents according to the type of housing assistance they are applying for.
Documents generally required include:

• Copy of applicant’s and spouse’s IC
• Marriage, divorce or death certificate, where applicable
• Proof of Johor voter registration
• Latest 3 months’ salary slips
• KWSP statement or bank statements for self-employed applicants
• Personal bank account details
• SPA (Sale and Purchase Agreement) / tenancy agreement
• SLMR, approval letter or proof of vacant possession, depending on the application category
• Confirmation signed by a Johor State Executive Councillor (EXCO), State Assemblyperson (ADUN), or State Constituency Coordinator

Additional supporting documents may be required depending on the assistance category. Applicants are advised to carefully review the complete document checklist stated in the official application form before submission.
