i-Suri: Financial Security for Housewives

EPF launched a program named Kasih Suri Keluarga Malaysia which is also known as i-Suri. This program is specially designed to allow women to contribute on their own or through their spouses to safeguard the social security of housewives.

 

Under this programme, “Suri Keluarga” must contribute at least RM5 per month or RM60 per year, in return, the government will provide an incentive as much as RM480 for them!

FAQs

i-Suri is a program specially designed to ensure the wellbeing of housewives and acknowledge their contributions to families and the country’s development.

  • Malaysian.
  • Women below 55 years old.
  • Wife of Head of Household (HOH) / Female HOH.
  • Must contribute at least RM5 per month or RM60 per year into the EPF account.
  • Housewives who are registered in the National Database on Poverty (eKasih) as of 30 November 2021.
  • Receive cash incentives from the government of RM480 per year.
  • Enjoy the same annual dividend as other EPF members.
  • Death benefits: RM2,500.
  • Able to make withdrawals and enjoy special incentives subject to established terms & conditions.

Eligible housewives can register themselves via nearest EPF branches.

*Only 1 plan can be joined at one time, if housewives who joined i-Saraan wish to switch to i-Suri, she should cancel the i-Saraan first then apply for i-Suri.

  • Internet Banking (Maybank, Public Bank, RHB Bank, CIMB Bank, Bank Islam, Hong Leong Bank).
  • Download *Borang KWSP 6A(2) and make payment at:
    • Bank agent counters (Maybank, RHB Bank, Public Bank, BSN).
    • A nearby bank that is registered under Ejen Bank Berdaftar (EBB)
    • EPF eKasih Suri Keluarga Malaysia KWSP counters.
