If you’ve moved to a new address or would like to vote at a polling station closer to your current residence, you can apply to change your voting location online through the MySPR portal.

The entire application process is completed online and only takes a few simple steps.

How to Change Your Voting Location via MySPR?

Step 1: Log in to Your MySPR Account

Visit the official MySPR website:
https://myspr.spr.gov.my/login

Log in using your MySPR account.
If you do not have an account yet, you will need to register before proceeding with your application.

Step 2: Register Your Account

Complete the account registration by providing your personal information as requested.

You will also be required to upload the following documents:

  • Front photo of your MyKad (Identity Card)
  • A selfie holding your MyKad

Please ensure that all information is accurate and that the uploaded images are clear and readable to avoid delays during the verification process.

Step 3: Submit Your Application

After logging in, navigate to:
Borang A (Pertukaran Bahagian Pilihan Raya / Pertukaran Status)
Complete the application by selecting your KATEGORI PEMILIH (Voter Category) and filling in all the required information.
Next, upload the required supporting documents:

  • Front photo of your MyKad
  • Selfie holding your MyKad

Once all information has been completed, click “HANTAR” (Submit).

A TAC (Verification Code) will be sent to your registered mobile number and email address. Enter the TAC to complete the verification and successfully submit your application.

Important Notes
  • Application processing normally takes approximately 1–2 months.
  • You can check your application status through the MySPR portal after submission.
  • Once approved, your new voting location will only take effect in the next election.
  • Ensure all information and uploaded documents are accurate and clearly visible to prevent delays or rejection.
  • Voting is an important civic responsibility. Update your voting location early to ensure you can cast your vote conveniently when the next election arrives.
