The Malaysian Government has introduced the NUR@PETRA 2026 Energy-Efficient Appliance Rebate (e-Rebat) Programme to encourage households to purchase energy-efficient home appliances.
Eligible Malaysians can receive a RM200 rebate when purchasing selected 4-Star or 5-Star energy-efficient air conditioners or refrigerators from participating retailers.

Who Is Eligible?
To qualify for the RM200 rebate, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Malaysian citizen.
- The electricity account must be registered with one of the following electricity providers:
- Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB)
- Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd. (SESB)
- Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB)
- NUR Power
Important Notes
Before applying, please note the following:
- Each electricity account is entitled to one RM200 rebate only.
- The rebate can be used to purchase either one air conditioner or one refrigerator, not both.
- Commercial, industrial, factory and business electricity accounts are not eligible under this programme.
How to Claim the RM200 Rebate at a Physical Store
If you prefer to purchase from a participating retail store, simply follow these steps:
- Bring your latest electricity bill (printed or digital) together with your MyKad.
- Choose an eligible 4-Star or 5-Star energy-efficient air conditioner or refrigerator.
- Present your electricity bill to the store staff for verification.
- The retailer will verify your electricity account online.
- Once approved, you will receive an instant RM200 discount at the point of purchase.
How to Claim the RM200 Rebate Online
You may also redeem the rebate through participating online platforms.
Step 1
Search for “NUR@PETRA” on Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop.
Step 2
Go to the campaign page, click “Register”, and enter your MyKad number and electricity account number.
Step 3
Once your application is approved, the RM200 e-Voucher will be automatically credited to your App wallet.
Step 4
Purchase an eligible 4-Star or 5-Star air conditioner or refrigerator, then apply the RM200 e-Voucher during checkout to enjoy an instant rebate.
Eligible Appliances
The rebate is applicable only if the following requirements are met:
- The appliance must be an air conditioner or refrigerator.
- The appliance must carry a 4-Star or 5-Star Energy Efficiency Label certified by the Energy Commission (ST) or the Energy Commission of Sabah (ECoS).
- The purchase must be made through a participating registered retailer.
- Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to allocation.
